The Role

As Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading mechanical engineering projects while supporting the growth and development of the wider engineering team. Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the delivery of mechanical engineering designs across multiple projects
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key technical contact
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers within the team
• Supporting project planning, resourcing, and commercial performance
• Reviewing technical documentation, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to strategic growth

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a Senior or Associate Mechanical Engineer role
• Strong background within infrastructure, water, utilities, construction, or related sectors
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering standards and design processes
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership would be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects and support team development
