We’re recruiting Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing operation in North Yorkshire.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of production through effective maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
- Working with machinery including conveyors, packaging lines, and processing equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and maintenance efficiency
Core requirements:
- Engineering experience within manufacturing, food production, or similar environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong electrical bias (preferred)
- Experience with PLC fault finding (desirable)
- Proven track record in high-paced production environments
- Confidence working on complex machinery and systems
- Background in general maintenance or engineering support roles
- Mechanical and/or basic electrical knowledge
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and progress within engineering
- Exposure to manufacturing or production environments (advantageous)
