A leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering some of the largest data centre projects in the region is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join its growing commissioning team in Frankfurt.
This is an opportunity to work on hyperscale and mission-critical facilities, supporting the testing, commissioning, energisation and handover of complex electrical and MEP infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Support commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to final handover.
Execute and witness testing of critical electrical and mechanical systems.
Participate in L1-L5 commissioning activities and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
Review commissioning procedures, method statements and test documentation.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors during commissioning phases.
Support system energisation and operational readiness activities.
Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting and resolution of commissioning issues.
Verify installations comply with design specifications, commissioning requirements and quality standards.
Produce commissioning reports, test records, punch lists and handover documentation.
Support final client demonstrations and acceptance testing.

Requirements
Experience within data centres, critical facilities, power generation, utilities, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, industrial facilities or other mission-critical environments.
Background in commissioning, operations, maintenance, testing, startup or critical infrastructure delivery.
Electrical or MEP engineering experience preferred.
Understanding of critical power systems and building services infrastructure.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and commissioning documentation.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to work within a fast-paced project environment.
